Full-Time Specialist, Recognition

Job Description

The role:

The Recognition Specialist is responsible for planning and executing all Distributors recognition efforts based on the market needs in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. The role will work closely with the Sales Management Team, cross-functional departments and Executives. This role will also be responsible for creating and analyzing reports to gauge Distributors behavior and evaluate sales initiatives. Responsibilities include a fundamental understanding of Company Marketing Plan and Leadership Recognition, Awards and Incentive programs.

This role will include approximately 25% travel domestically and internationally as needed.

How you would contribute:

  • Deliver an excellent recognition experience to new President’s Team, Ks and Diamonds, as well as new Founder’s Circle and Chairman’s Club by presenting and executing relevant recognition initiatives timely and accurately and providing personalized support to qualifiers via effective channels. E.g.: Lead the New President’s Team Experience and New President’s and Founder’s Circle and Chairman’s Club call with CEO and Executives, coordinating flower shipment, IG and Workplace recognition, building profiles and flyers and other required efforts.
  • Responsible for recognition initiatives at Extravaganza, Future President’s Team Retreat and Leadership Development Weekends on and off stage by developing accurate and inspiring content, sourcing appealing gifts, coordinating logistics and training Executives, testimonials and MCs in partnership with the events cross functional team.
  • Develop recognition content for monthly President’s Team and Tabulator calls with accurate and timely qualifiers details and Royalty Overrides ranking.
  • Work in partnership with WW and NAM Sales & Marketing Teams to ensure Distributors recognition initiatives are developed accurately and on a timely manner via all existing channels (e.g.: Recognition Yearbook, 40th Anniversary Digital magazine, Weekly Supplement, flyers, MyHerbalife.com, etc.).
  • Ensure North America recognition database is maintained up to date with required Distributors material. Provide updated Distributors information and material as needed by other teams.
  • Create monthly and YOY qualifiers reports to share with Executives and NAM Sales teams to monitor growth and track trends.
  • Plan and execute integrated recognition initiatives monthly on a timely and accurate manner and liaise with cross functional teams accordingly
  • Work on special projects assigned by the Management Team.

Skills and background required to be successful:

  • Expert-level knowledge in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and growing environment and quickly tackle dynamic challenges
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong customer orientation—ability to problem solve and gain trust across multiple functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executives, management, cross functional departments and Distributors of all levels via several different communication channels
  • Excellent judgment and independent decision making with the ability to adjust quickly while working in a fast pace environment at events
  • Expert interpersonal skills – able to motivate and manage different personalities
  • Creative, out-of-the-box and forward thinker with the ability to create new ideas and processes.
  • Excellent public speaking skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Highly organized
  • Flexible and able to react positively to challenge and frequent change.
  • Familiarity with Zoom, WebEx, and Workplace by Facebook

Experience:

  • 5 year’s experience in customer (Distributor) relations management
  • 3 year’s working in a Sales, Marketing, Event Planning, or related field role

Education:

  • High School Diploma
