Candidate ensures reporting and analyzing of external reporting analytics are sound and accurate. Applies knowledge of external reporting best practices and requirements. Responsible for investigation, documentation and resolution of issues identified in the reporting process. Recognized as the external reporting point of contact and eventual subject matter expert within U.S. Regulatory Reporting. Delivers thorough external reporting ensuring accuracy and correctness and transforms data into information for reporting where needed. Contributes to the establishment of the external reporting strategy for U.S. Regulatory Reporting and is responsible for ensuring the implementation of that strategy. Leverages regulatory reporting techniques to achieve business objectives. Provides support for the entire spectrum of the reporting process. Processes complex financial transactions and identifies and analyzes exceptions. Builds strategic relationships to influence at all levels of the organization. Liaises with internal and external regulators to ensure compliance to prescribed standards. Supervises, motivates and guides more junior external reporting roles. No direct reports. Provides technical advice/guidance to less experienced External Reporting roles as needed. Responsibilities are primarily limited to U.S. Regulatory Reporting. However, tasks may produce cross-regional impacts, which will be modified based upon local regulations/requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor‘s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 5-7 years of experience in regulatory reporting preferred. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in FFIEC 031, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14M and FR Y-14Q reporting is preferred. Other regulatory reporting experience or credit risk experience is beneficial, but not required. Experience analyzing/working with large data sets is essential. Candidate should have advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of Axiom software program is a plus. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong internal control mindset. Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related area is a plus.
