Full-Time Sound Delivery Manager (d/f/m)

Job Description

Your mission

We are looking for a Delivery Manager for our Sound Focus Area to ensure timely delivery of devices, sound content, Packs, and other features to Ableton products. In this role, you will work with the Head of Sound, Head of Sound Content, Product Owners, and Teams to create a shared view of what’s going on in each project. Your responsibilities will include helping teams remove roadblocks, escalating and monitoring any issues that pose a risk to the success of a project, and ensuring a good level of collaboration between the different teams in the area. Part of your role will also be to keep the delivery plan up to date and create transparency around progress towards a release. Additionally, you will advise on how to optimise the Sound Focus Area’s setup and workflows while collaborating with Product Owners, their teams, and other Delivery Managers at Ableton.

Your responsibilities

  • You maintain and communicate the Sound roadmap
  • You manage dependencies, identify impediments and gaps and make sure they get resolved
  • You track project risks and staffing needs and make sure they are clearly communicated
  • You collaborate with Commerce, QA and the Release Manager on product and Pack Store releases
  • You support Team Product Owners with applying the right Agile tools and workflows
  • You continuously look for process improvements and help optimize collaboration between Sound Teams and other Ableton Teams
  • You run cross-team planning meetings

 

Your profile

  • You have deep knowledge of Agile tools and principles
  • You are proficient in project management, planning techniques and tools
  • You have experience with planning across multiple timelines
  • You have a highly organized, solution-oriented and self-sufficient working style
  • You have strong communication and mediation skills and speak fluent English
  • You are comfortable moderating meetings with large groups
  • You are approachable, available, transparent and display empathy for teams and individuals
