The Software Test Analyst will develop and execute manual test scripts for Black Knight’s MSP product and other product applications. Works on a collaborative Agile team utilizing SAFe practices and provides consulting for software development, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.


  • Develops, maintains and upgrades Manual or Automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
  • Perform usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
  • Controls and manages own daily test activities.
  • Provides internal quality assurance.
  • Supports test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Organizes and maintains the test script library.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.


  • Knowledge of methods, tools, and technology used in manual and automation software testing
  • Experience in Azure DevOps preferred
  • Familiarity with BDD and TDD concepts, Gherkin, Selenium and other automation testing tools
  • Ability to decompose business and technical requirements to derive test case scenarios and define data requirements
  • Ability to advocate test issues and facilitate through resolution
  • Knowledge of the servicing mortgage industry is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of defect management tools
  • Knowledge of the basic principles, processes, phases and roles of an Agile development environment
  • Ability to write test scripts and queries to be used for data/product validation and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of object-oriented development tools, techniques, and principles
  • Skill in analysis, solid decision-making and problem-solving with the ability to deliver results under pressure
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Software Test Analyst II

Intermediate professional role requiring moderate skills with high level of proficiency. Develops and implements solutions that require analysis and research. Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments. Possesses knowledge in a specific business area. Works on one or more projects as a team member or occasionally as a project lead. May coach more junior technical staff. Works under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. May consult with senior peers on certain projects. Typically requires four (4) or more years of demonstrated experience in software testing.

Although target pay range may vary by work location, a representative pay range for Colorado residents is: $65,000 – $95,000. Eligible to participate in medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability insurance, 401(k) plan and employee stock purchase pl an. Eligible to participate in the discretionary annual performance bonus.
