The role: The Software Engineer (II) will work closely with a highly collaborative team.  This position requires familiarity with the concepts of Agile/Scrum processes. Technologies you should have experience with is .Net and familiarity with: RESTful API’s,  ReactJS, Ruby/Rails, Python, Async/Batch processing, SOA, & Elasticsearch. We are building a world class platform, so if your passion for excellence is matched with a curious need to solve complex challenges while delivering best-in-class, well-crafted code, this position will be what you are looking for.

 

What you will do:  

  • Deliver code for a tech stack that is comprised of .Net, ReactJS, Ruby/Rails, Python and PostgreSQL.
  • The platform is built as a micro-services architecture so you will be working on various parts for both the front end and back end.
  • Work quickly with your code being checked-in frequently to integrate with our deployment-safe, test driven, CI/CD pipeline.
  • Build unit tests to help ensure solid workmanship.
  • Actively participate with our Product Development Team to help plan our implementation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot issue and work support tickets.

 

Education and experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of development experience focused on .Net or equivalent modern dynamic OO language.
  • Fluent in consuming RESTful API’s.
  • Familiar with the concepts involved with Design Patterns.

 

Additional eligibility qualifications: 

  • Excellent verbal, written and group communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational & analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven and execution-oriented personality, ready to take ownership and get results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Other qualifications as required.

 

Core Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F, HYBRID; these hours may vary depending upon your position and work requirements.

 

Status: Exempt

 

Location: Brentwood, TN  (Hybrid)
