What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert – Utility Pricing and Renewable Energy to join the Operations team. This individual will have an opportunity to be the key person in the company responsible for and owning the rate data which is the critical part of the Arcadia platform. The person will closely work with product ,engineering and commercial teams on data strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate has a deep  understanding and experience of the Electricity domain including electricity pricing, programs such as demand response, solar, storage and EV.

Arcadia is headquartered in Washington, DC, and open to fully remote candidates.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the functional and technical authority on the internal electricity tariff rate models and structures
  • Product Owner of the Management Tools and Processes which support the tariff rate models
  • Local expert on utility data including electricity tariffs, incentives and ancillary programs
  • Consulting across business operations, providing mentorship, and supplying specialized knowledge
  • Recommending solutions and resolving requirements for improvements of the internal tools and processes
  • Supervising the testing, and implementation of customer data requirements
  • Documenting processes and disseminating information to all relevant partners

What will help you succeed:

Must-haves:

  • Demonstrable credentials as a leading Subject Matter Expert
  • 5-10 years of experience working in the Electricity pricing and renewable energy domain (solar, storage, demand response, EVs)
  • Experience in Process development and Project Management
  • Sophisticated ability to recommend and implement technical solutions for cross-functional projects
  • Sound knowledge of SQL
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of systems to optimally integrate subject expertise in software solutions
  • Ability to write stored procedures and data management scripts
  • Experience in API Usage
