Full-Time Service Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Service Supervisor to join our team specializing in Sales and Service for our Distribution Segment in Ithaca, New York.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Supervising Technicians and/or Service Team Leaders; coordinating and schedulingtechnician work schedules; communicating repair plans totechnicians aligned with customer quotes.

* Monitoringtechnician productivity and repair quality; providing coaching and feedback toindividualtechnicians; providing performance reviews and opportunities for professional growth.

* Managingservice logistics including use of materials, equipment, and employees ensuring safety, quality, and efficient operations.

* Developingand/or reviewingquotes for accuracy prior to communication to customers; providingupdates on repair status and any plan or schedule changes.

* Participatingin continuous improvement activities by reviewing, changing, and improving processes in line with changing customer expectations/organizational goals.

* Monitoringgoals and targets for the branch; measures, reviews, and maintains superior customer satisfaction levels.

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Skills to translate customer complaints to develop troubleshooting plans.

* Ability to follow procedures and document required information in the service management system in order to have an accurate record of the work done.

* Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.

* Ways of developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

* Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experiencein a service environment.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

* Demonstrated role competence is required. College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline is preferred

* This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

* Relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership experience, preferred.

* A standard completed DMR report is required.

* Must follow all Cummins safety policies and demonstrate strong minded safety thinking

* Work well independently asday to daysupervisor for branch service operations.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
