Position Summary:

As Avita continues to grow and scale, we have invested in developing and piloting two MVPs – Avita RxConnect – a Clinic (Client) facing portal to help case managers manage drug therapies for their patients, and Avita Patient Connect – a Text To Web solution to help patients to manage their own prescriptions. These products are the face of the pharmacy services delivered by Avita Pharmacy operations.


We are looking for a Senior Tech. Product Manager / Director of Digital Clinic & Patient Engagement Solutions to take these solutions out to the real world by rolling them out to our clinics, patients, and pharmacies. This will entail understanding the needs of the clinics and the patients to drive adoption, engagement, and understanding how pharmacies work so you can help them deliver the services promised by these digital solutions.


This position can be based remotely at a home office.


About the role:

  • Manage the development, rollout, and adoption of our Clinic (client) and Patient (customer) portals leading to improved digital engagement and collaboration
  • Work on maximizing digital interactions – orders placed via the clinic portal (Avita Rx Connect) and patient mobile solutions (Avita Patient Connect), questions asked and answered via Portal Chat etc., while minimizing chain phone calls and friction between case managers (at Clinics), Patients, and Avita Pharmacies
  • Work with Clinics (clients), Patients (customers), Pharmacy Operations Leads, Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand / evangelize unmet needs and develop solutions
  • Develop personas, JTDs, hypotheses, experiment design documents, and user stories
  • Develop concepts, requirements, wire frames, and specification documents, specifically working with our clients, patients, pharmacy operations, and client management teams
  • Mange product roadmap and product backlog
  • Develop and execute rollout and adoption processes, tools and plans working teams including but not limited to pharmacy operations, account management, and engineering
  • Monitor rollout and usage. Analyze data and elicit feedback to identify impediments and issues.
  • Make product, process, and/or people changes needed to improve activation/enrollment, adoption, usage, and value
  • Work with pharmacy operations leads, engineers, UX designer, and other stakeholders to deliver, rollout and drive usage of new product features
  • Analyze product data to derive insights to assist in the prioritization and post release optimization of the products
  • Coach, mentor and directly manage Product Owner(s), Process Analyst, UX/UI person etc. as needed
  • Travel up to 10% to pharmacies, meet with clients, and our home office in Plano, TX

  About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Management role for Digital Patient Engagement / Patient Care / Pharmacy Services Products
  • Training in Design Thinking, UX, product management, product development
  • Experience with pharmacies and pharmacy benefit management is a plus
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner is a plus
  • Comfort or experience in a fast-paced and growing environment
  • Intellectual and professional curiosity
  • Highly analytical, experience using Excel, and/or other analytical tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
