To support our mission, we seek a Senior Specialist, Online Production, to join our Strategic Business Operations team in Reston, VA.  This position serves to make the National Wildlife Federation brand stronger, working collaboratively across the organization with subject matter experts, uncovering opportunities, and fueling fundraising and advocacy success across all of our platforms and departments.

In this role you will be responsible for producing the National Wildlife Federation’s online advocacy and fundraising content. This role utilizes our enterprise online platform to create a variety of mission-critical forms including emails, donation pages, action alerts, surveys, and event registrations.  In this role you will work closely with many teams across the organization to ensure services and deliverables are fulfilled in a timely and high-quality manner. You will also be involved with operational tasks (such as implementing new system functionalities into applicable builds and producing documentation) and with larger projects (including new design applications and form builds for websites). You will report to the Director of Supporter Operations.

In this role you will:

Work as a member of the Digital Operations Team to produce and send/publish NWF-branded emails, donation pages, action alerts, surveys, events, and other pages.
Work with the Supporter Operations Team to continuously improve the quality and production efficiency of NWF’s online forms through procedural or technical changes.
Conduct Quality Assurance of Production Team builds.
Use JIRA to manage Production Team tasks and schedules.
Create/edit images for emails, insets, ads, and other digital graphics for NWF’s website (nwf.org).
Manage email stationaries and page wrappers, providing updates to branding, logos, and content as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in producing online content
Experience in a dynamic corporate, nonprofit, or media environment with proven expertise in marketing design principals is essential.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and provide quality deliverables with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience building emails, donation pages, action alerts and other similar content.
Proficiency in using HTML and CSS. Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and JavaScript.
Ability, and desire, to learn new technical tools and processes quickly and thoroughly.
Capable of being assigned a role on large projects and independently working on deliverables
Strong desire to advocate for and engage in process improvement.
Ability to act as consultant on best use of applicable systems to meet business goals.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Flexibility, determination, and a sense of humor.
Love for wildlife and conservation of our natural spaces is a big plus.
There may be some travel in this role to attend conferences or other trainings.
