Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) is looking for a professional with ambition and experience building meaningful client relationships to join our Relationship Management & Sales Teams at our Cambridge location. This is a great opportunity for someone with a minimum of four to five years of professional work experience. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of clients across CIC’s Massachusetts campus which includes locations in Cambridge and Boston, all of which are easily accessible via public transportation.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK

As members of our Relationship Management & Sales Team, our team members have the opportunity to sell a product and service with a great reputation, well positioned in a world that is looking toward the future of workspaces.

As a Senior Sales & Relationship Manager potential responsibilities may include:
• Managing a client portfolio of ~100 companies currently located at CIC. Providing senior level oversight to assist our clients in getting the most out of their experience at CIC. For example, as a client’s business evolves, so too does their need for office space, and you will be responsible for helping them find the right solution. Overall, you will be a resource for building relationships within the community and for resolving complex situations for other staff members and clients alike.
• Serving as a member of the CIC Sales Team and working with prospective clients to determine if CIC is the right place for them to start or grow their businesses.
• Contributing to the RM team’s strategic discussions of pricing and positioning of our flexible office offering. Bringing a critical eye to continue to evolve our product to meet changing needs of our market.
• Helping drive the creation and implementation of new programs and initiatives around new sales, client support, and overall business development and expansion. For example, if you have marketing experience, there may be opportunities to work on our website, support our online social media efforts, or reach out to the local community. We hope to find someone with the capacity to lead efforts like these and others.
• Leading tours for prospective clients and informational groups, such as students or visiting delegations.
• Providing administrative and sales support to expansion site teams, specifically in the site’s first year.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

YOU HAVE
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least four to five years of professional experience, with at least two years in a client-facing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A natural interest for helping/supporting others.
• An interest in a long-term role. We are a growing company, and we like to hire people who can grow with us over the years.
• Conversational fluency in foreign languages a strong plus.
