ABOUT THE ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • An innovative Senior People Manager candidate recognizes the continuum by which learning and development, team engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion work together to support the professional and personal growth for our team. This role is responsible for creating plans, processes, and programs that sustain a high-performance, diverse culture, including but not limited to:
  • Adapt a hands-on approach to assess the “pulse” of our team members and ensure a high level of engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members at all levels
  • Develop and deliver learning and development programs that support the growth of the company
  • Create and drive effective development, team member relations, and reward and retention programs
  • Be comfortable with rolling up your sleeves and leading multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Adopt a results-oriented approach with a passion for process and project management
  • Formulate initiatives alongside the Head of HR, including Diversity and Inclusion, Talent Development, and Performance Management
  • Continually seek improvement of current HR programs.
  • Be a trusted advisor and an enthusiastic teammate
  • Have a strong internal and external customer service focus

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Critical problem solver who can apply data analysis to long-term development strategy
  • Project Management experience
  • Labor Law Knowledge
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience, with focus on learning & development, employee engagement, and/or diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Experience with HR Systems including ADP WorkforceNow, Greenhouse ATS preferred
  • HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
  • Available to work a flexible schedule during the holiday (peak) season
  • Prior eCommerce or retail experience is a plus
