Full-Time Senior Marketing Manager, Insights

What if you could go to work every day, tell powerful people they’re wrong, and have them love you for it? This isn’t just some pipedream, my friend. However, you have to earn the right to tell people they’re wrong. You need to understand how they think, how and why they make their decisions, how their business works, how they make and lose revenue, and more. You need to build the customer’s mental model as it exists today and then explode it before building a new, superior one based on a commercial insight. If you love tearing down and building up mental models, understanding how businesses make money, and uncovering hidden connections customers fail to see, we’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead our commercial insight development process. We’re attacking new verticals and market challenges and need you to guide the team to create frame-breaking insights that will help us conquer the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide the team through the commercial insight development process
  • Map customer mental models
  • Create commercial insight statements
  • Develop commercial insight models
  • Depict how the customer’s business works
  • Understand customer motivations, decisions, how they speak, what they’re thinking
  • Look for the right place to tell the customer they’re wrong

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years consulting experience
  • Experience in management and operations
  • Experience in strategy consulting
  • Experience developing commercial insights
  • Experience developing mental models
  • Customer development experience
  • B2B/enterprise experience
