Full-Time Senior HR Business Partner

Job Description


The Senior HR Business Partner is responsible for leading the daily operations of the human resources department in support of the Care Group division of DentaQuest. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, this position will implement and coordinate policies and programs covering, but not limited to, talent management, learning and development, employee relations, recruitment and orientation, compensation, benefits, payroll, diversity awareness, and other areas, as needed. This role will act as an HR business partner to the Care Group team and execute corporate HR compliance requirements. Specific areas of responsibility are outlined below.


Provide daily Human Resources guidance to ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements and day to day management of employees
Analyze HR data trends and metrics with leaders to assist in good business decisions
Resolve complex employee relations issues and grievances
Work closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
Provide HR Policy guidance
Monitor and report on workforce planning, including but not limited to: performance management, compensation management, and succession planning
Identify training needs
Assist and rollout new Human Resources strategies



Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 15 years’ experience working in a variety of Human Resource capacities
10+ years management experience
Consultative, problem solving, and counseling skills
Ability to coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues
Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, and employment law
Advanced knowledge of general computer software (Access, MS Word, Excel)
Strong business acumen, with an understanding of the dynamics and drivers of business
Attends additional training as requested/deemed necessary


Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively.
Requires overall light physical effort (up to 25lbs.)
Manual dexterity and sitting is required in carrying out the position’s responsibilities (i.e. use of personal compute).
Ability to travel or move about within and outside serviced facilities required.
Incumbent works primarily in either a private or shared office environment.
