Full-Time Senior Graphic Designer

Uncommon Goods – Posted by Uncommon Goods Kings County, New York, United States

Job Description

As our Senior Designer—reporting to the Senior Art Director— you will collaborate closely with photographers, videographers, designers, and writers, and work with Product Management, UX, Tech, Merchandising and Marketing teams to make intelligent, elegant, compelling design—all while fearlessly dreaming up big ideas. Day to day, you will focus on designing on-brand communications, across all of our channels, including catalog, email, social media and homepage.

You can step back and see the whole picture, where everything connects—and you can zoom in to finesse the tiniest details. You have experience managing an agile design team. You are as comfortable collaborating with others—from our writers and marketing team to product and tech teams—as you are working on your own. You don’t consider something complete until the kerning or QA is just right, and you love a detailed style guide. You know when to be flexible, but always maintain high standards for original concepts and detailed executions. You love visual storytelling, branding, and experimenting with new ideas. You have a strong desire to push the Uncommon Goods brand forward.

Uncommon Goods offers remarkable designs by independent makers, and we do it with a positive impact on people and our planet. Learn more about our products, B Corp certification, Better to Give program, and amazing team members you might be working with.
