Role Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Finance of Jamieson Worldwide, the Senior

Financial Analyst (SFA) will aid in the preparation of financial analyses, quarter-end deliverables, ESG reporting, and budgets and forecasts. The SFA will be responsible for analyzing performance, communicating results and assisting in financial diligence in the company’s decision-making process. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with cross-functional leaders and will play an integral role in providing financial analyses on the international business to drive strategic decisions.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties

The candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Commercial Finance – Provide commercial support to the international sales, marketing, and operations teams. Build financial models to assess results and perform ad hoc analyses;
• ESG reporting – Assist in the launch of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) reporting and work with cross-functional teams to track against our climate commitments using the TCFD framework;
• Quarter-end Reporting – Communicate timely and accurate financial results to the executive team including causes for variances against prior year/budget and forward-looking implications. Provide actionable information that will impact the company’s financial results;
• Budget and Forecast – Manage the international entities’ financial planning process for budgets, reforecasts and financial projections. Responsible for quantifying the financial impact of business initiatives, recommending viable options and validating key assumptions. Manage the budget and reforecast timelines, submissions and scenario analyses;
• Special Projects – Global expansion projects, investor relations support, and improvements to the company’s decision-making process.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements
• Professional Accounting Designation (CPA, CA required)
• Minimum 3+ years in a financial role, audit experience preferred
• Exceptional analytical and financial analysis skills, ability to dig into detail without losing sight of the big picture
• Experience with financial modelling and budgeting (detail/bottoms-up)
• Excellent time management skills (ability to multitask with manage deadlines and prioritize deliverables)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
