Full-Time Search Marketing Strategist

About the Job

As Search Marketing Strategist, you will be contributing to the overall growth and performance of our paid search accounts. For this remote-friendly role, we’re looking for a data-driven, analytical individual who’s passionate about optimizing paid search campaigns and enhancing performance through continuous testing. What You’ll Get to Do

  • Write and implement new ad copy, expand keyword coverage, perform campaign experiments; launch and optimize paid search campaigns to meet and exceed traffic, revenue and profitability goals
  • Independently own and manage a variety of paid search Google & Bing accounts
  • Conduct daily and weekly SEM optimization exercises such as adjusting bid strategy targets, device modifications, negative keywords, ad creative, and audiences
  • Test Google Smart Bidding strategies, account structures, Google betas, and landing pages in order to continually improve key metrics (conversions, CPA, ROAS, Profit)
  • Monitor competition and provide recommendations based on market conditions specific to impression share, top of page rate, ad copy, keyword coverage and strategy
  • Communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and latest developments in paid search

 

What You Bring to the Table

  • 1 year of relevant work experience as a Paid Search Specialist or similar role in SEM/PPC
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Ads, Microsoft Ads Editor (certifications a plus)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups); Ability to work with large datasets quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • Experience in campaign building, keyword planning, smart bidding strategy (Target CPA, Target ROAS, Enhanced CPC, Portfolio bidding, Target Impression Share), audience targeting, demographic segmentation
  • Strong understanding of Quality Score, CPCs, CVR, auction insights, etc.
  • Ability to analyze performance data to draw conclusions. Experience with data visualization tools a plus
  • Ability to multitask, work efficiently, and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Desire to learn and become part of the team
  • BS/BA Degree
