School Counsellor – Hangleton

Brighton, East Sussex, UK

Fixed term contract for 1 year (likelihood of extension)

7 Hours per week

Term time only

£28,855 per annum (pro rata)

Dialogue School Counselling is an established, BACP accredited school counselling service covering Brighton and Hove, East and West Sussex and Surrey. We are currently looking for a qualified counsellor with experience of working with school age children to join our team and deliver the school counselling service at Hangleton Primary School.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with primary aged children and will be familiar with using creative therapeutic approaches such as art, play and sand tray. We are looking for someone will a professional, flexible attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage their time well. The post holder will be confident in identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns and have experience of working in a school setting.
