Full-Time Sales Representative
To build and maintain strong broker/client relationships while meeting and exceeding membership goals in the Massachusetts small group market.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve or exceed goals around call volume, quote/close ratios, and sales goals established by management.
Develops and maintains dental product expertise.
Develop and maintain relationships with all benefit brokers within assigned territory through regular sales calls in person and via phone/webinars
Proactively develop business opportunities
Effectively deliver presentations to new and potential client, brokers and others
Track all prospect management through CRM database.
Collaborate with Sales Consultants and other departments as needed for process improvement and other enhancements.
Develop and maintain supportive and positive relationships with all management, peers, other personnel and external partners.
Other duties as needed or required.
Bachelor’s degree required in sales, marketing, communications or business major preferred.
2 years experience
Highly motivated self-starter.
Ability to assess needs and recommend proper coverage.
Ability to manage a large number of inbound and outbound calls.
Outstanding telephone and customer service etiquette skills.
Operate independently, exercising good judgment and professionalism.
Make decisions and choose actions that conform to the organization’s ethical standards for excellence, integrity, respect and accountability.
Excellent attention to detail as well as oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Function with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
Adapt to changing priorities and take initiative.
Strong proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word and database programs.
Attends additional training as requested/deemed necessary
Sales experience in insurance or dental related field a plus
Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively.
Requires overall light physical effort (up to 25lbs.)
Manual dexterity and sitting is required in carrying out position own position responsibilities (i.e. use of personal compute).
Ability to travel or move about within and outside serviced facilities required.
Incumbent works primarily in either a private or shared office environment.
