Full-Time Sales Representative

Swap Robotics is the future of sustainable, robotic sidewalk snow plowing and grass cutting. We are a start-up based in Kitchener, ON that engineers and manufactures 100% electric robots that can perform snow removal, salting, sidewalk inspections and grass cutting. We have clients all over Canada and are expanding to the USA this year. In our collaborative and innovative work environment, we believe anything is possible with the right team and the right tools!

In your job as a Sales Representative, you are responsible for conducting full-cycle business sales. Reporting directly to the Sales Team Lead, you will help to manage new and existing client accounts and assist with client relations and LOIs. You will utilize sales, business and marketing tools to further expand the company’s business and maintain communications with all clientele. You will also help create ad campaigns to help market our products and services with assistance from the Sales Lead and Business Development Representative. As a Sales Representative, you possess strong communication and multitasking skills, backed by uncapped enthusiasm and drive!

We are looking for someone who is in the Waterloo region and able to work in-office due to the nature of work performed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting full-cycle Sales on a daily basis
  • Assisting the Sales Lead to generate leads lists and management of lead lists
  • Prospecting and gaining new clients using various research methods and tools
  • Responding to client inquiries
  • Performing product demos
  • Managing client accounts and communications with all clientele
  • Performing basic product/service marketing via presentations, pitches, product demos and social media campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Creating and implementing sales ad campaigns
  • Attending and conducting meetings with clients
  • Managing the creation of documentation such as LOIs and NDAs
  • Assisting the Sales Lead with various tasks as required

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business
  • Previous Sales and/or Marketing experience
  • Working knowledge of applications and CRM software such as Microsoft Suite, C-Suite level meetings, Canva, Sales Navigator and Close.io
  • Proficient knowledge of social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience working at a startup or small company as an asset
  • Ability to work independently/with little supervision
  • Enthusiastic and driven
  • G driver’s license
