We are seeking a high energy, motivated sales professional to promote innovative solutions with current and potential customers.

This position will be responsible for the design and execution of marketing and sales strategies, policies, and programs to achieve Field Services sales goals within the New York City market.

You will be called upon to refine existing programs, while also developing and leading new programs based on customer needs and product offerings.

You will collaborate closely with local and national leadership focusing on developing our existing and future sales teams.

You will work to nurture relationships with existing key customers and be responsible to help develop new ones.

You will be responsible for leading Field Services growth initiatives throughout the market.

You will be responsible for assisting the sales channel partners (i.e. distributors, direct sales offices, rep firms) to delight our customers.

Identify product gaps, develop solutions to minimize the impact, and work with Product Management to prioritize and eliminate gaps.

Establish action plans and sales targets for each territory and reviewing progress with local sales management on a regular basis.

Collaborate across Carrier functions and business divisions to identify opportunities and upcoming projects with existing customers.

Partner with marketing to identify Carrier product strengths vs competition and implement plans and communication to capitalize.


Bachelors degree required.


Minimum 10 years of sales experience in HVAC, or related industry in professional positions with growing responsibility.

Knowledgeable about Carrier commercial products.

Detailed understanding of market dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitors programs.

Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize data from various sources in both graphic and verbal format, while easily translating them to the target audience.

Ability to effectively connect with both internal and external customers.

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).

Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities.

Ability to direct and lead effective and efficient performance of field sales operations.

Entrepreneurial spirit and selling strategy preferred

Must be a team player and must be able to sell on factors other than price.

Must be willing to seek new challenges daily, problem solving ability is key.

Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills

Experience with a plus.
