We are looking for a talented Sales Management Director to join our team specializing in Automated Transmission Technology for our Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Joint Venture (ECJV) in your remote home office in Midwest (Illinois (IL), Michigan (MI), or Indiana (IN) preferred).

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Leads account responsibility for large OEM customers.

* Preserves and expands market share at OEM customers.

* Cultivates customer relationships at all levels & maximizes sales growth opportunities/win capture.

* Manages a large sales organization and serves as the most senior position responsible for sales revenue and activity in multiple market/product segments or regions.

* Responsible for executing the strategy through your sales organization to achieve customer value and serves on the market or regional leadership team with more than 10% of sales and margin impact within the business entity.

* Oversees that the salesforce is working safely and that the Cummins Culture of Safety is present and strong within the sales force.

* Coaches, develops, and motivates sales staff.

* Engages with leadership as well as direct and dotted line teams to lead and support change management.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* University or college degree in the field of Sales or Marketing with an MBA preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

* Prior experience in a technical sales management function role for a large global organization.

* Expertise in sales strategy and sales budget/ P&L management.

* Ensures accountability – Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.

* Manages conflict – Handling conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise.

* Drives vision and purpose – Painting a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action.

* Instills trust – Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

 

Compensation and Benefits

 

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
