Full-Time Sales Director – Regional

The Sales Director-Regional (SD) is responsible for developing and implementing a Regional strategy designed to increase the sales, inventory utilization, new customer development & renewal penetration while meeting profitability goals of NCM in a designated region. The SD will manage a team of Regional account directors (ADs) who work from a home office and cover a Regional sales territory. The position requires significant travel (minimum of 40% of time spent in the field)
The primary responsibility is to manage and direct sales activities of 5-10 ADs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including: interviewing, hiring/firing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and developing individual career development plans for all of their direct reports including training opportunities; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Manage team of ADs to achieve Regional sales and growth goals.
Develop and execute a detailed and accurate Regional forecast plan and deliver business performance reports on a timely basis.
Manage customer expectations and contribute to high level of customer satisfaction by establishing and maintaining relationships with key customers.
Develop and implement plans and strategies for the assigned geographic Region for achieving NCM sales and profitability goals.
Manage and compile business and market intelligence to support market sales and share gain, competitive activities responses, Corporate Marketing activities, and Business Unit initiatives.
Executes sales strategies (onscreen, lobby, digital) to meet revenue goals.
Track pipeline to ensure there is enough activity to meet monthly/yearly sales goals for individuals and team.
Conduct quarterly 1:1 meetings with AD’s to discuss target accounts and go-to-market strategies for individuals and team. Conduct ongoing progress discussions.
Bachelor’s Degree required
3-5 years of sales and/or sales management, strategic planning and execution
Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate and support a sales team
Accountability for reaching revenue targets with demonstrated success maximizing profit and achieving growth
Analytical ability with experience forecasting and presenting to leadership
Proficient in business tools such as CRM, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Any combination of the following experience and training (designated as required and/or preferred) that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Experience: >5 Years of increasingly responsible and related experience
Education: College degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
Licensure / Certification: Must have valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record, proof of current insurance and reliable personal transportation.
WORKING CONDITIONS: (e.g., Office environment, exposure to computer screens, etc.)
This job operates in a office/home office environment, and requires a minimum of 40% travel to designatated area/s. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.
