The Opportunity

New Engen is seeking a high-energy growth marketing manager to lead development and execution of our go to market strategy to support our rapid growth goals. This role requires a unique blend of content curation and management, sales lead generation, building partner ecosystems, establishing and nurturing industry analyst relationships, account-based marketing, event marketing, project management and cross org collaboration. The ideal candidate is team oriented, has a customer-centric entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for all things marketing and advertising, and a successful track record of building and driving high-performance growth strategies and teams.

This role will report to New Engen’s SVP of Sales & Marketing.

How you’ll make a difference

  • Partner with SVP of Sales & Marketing and VP of Creative to develop and implement New Engen brand strategy
  • Design and lead implementation of thought leadership/content creation, curation and management to fill top of funnel with prospective clients
  • Project-manage and coach SMEs/contributors to produce content that demonstrates New Engen’s thought leadership in the marketplace
  • Build go to market strategy to disseminate content across all relevant channels i.e. email, LinkedIn, blogs, webinars, virtual conferences and industry publications
  • Become a specialist in extracting insight out of client engagement data, and guide and coach others to develop similar capability
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing leadership team to develop and implement lead gen strategies, while also developing a plan to build a robust partnership ecosystem
  • Develop, implement and manage virtual conference strategy that places New Engen SMEs and thought leadership in front of industry analysts, clients and prospects

About You

  • Proven experience managing marketing campaigns either in-house or with a digital marketing agency; preferred B2B and enterprise experience
  • High-paced, creative and conceptual problem solver coupled with an executional ability to deliver output quickly and consistently
  • Able to understand complex marketing topics and communicate them to audiences with varying levels of expertise
  • Experience in content strategy, content development and content delivery across multiple formats (email platforms, blog posts) targeting multiple audiences
  • Strong writing and editing skills, preferably with strong examples from digital marketing execution
  • Project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with paid media channels, email marketing and social media tactics
  • Embrace data and measurement to inform action
  • Customer-first mindset, passion for and ability to understand and diagnose customer experience
  • Event planning (ideally virtual events), field marketing, and/or brand activation experience, especially in placing leaders with a point of view on panels and in premier speaking slots
  • Model leadership internally and act as a trusted New Engen spokesperson externally
  • Have experience working in sales organizations or strong familiarity with sales functions within B2B organizations
  • Willing to occasionally travel to help execute events (once Covid measures are no longer in effect, and always with safety as a first consideration)
