This position is part of the Global Logistics organization with cross-functional accountability to Sales teams. The Retail Trade Leader is responsible for daily order management activities, exception management, customer interface, and logistics troubleshooting.  The role serves as the primary point of contact for Operations, Planners, Retailer Partners and Distribution for assigned Retailer performance metrics and order management and validation, account integrity within system launch and promotional program allocations, and new door openings. Extensive interaction with Retailer Partners, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Retailer Relations, Distribution, Transportation to deliver expected results.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Order entry and order maintenance for Domestic Retailers.
  • EDI Management
  • Maintain Customer Masters, on boarding process, pricing, contracts, and sales deals.
  • Responsible for Item Set up for our Domestic Retailers.
  • Help manage and report on Retailers pipe fills and promotions.
  • Point person for retailer performance, tracking and improvement including:  Fill Rate/On Time ship, Compliance and Chargeback’s.
  • Perform SAP delivery documents to allocate and hold stock for all domestic sales orders.
  • Create and Distribute weekly customer “cut” sheets to ensure our customers have up to date information in regards to their purchase orders.
  • Create and Distribute open order and backorder reports to our customers, MFG Reps offices, Sales department and upper management to ensure all disciplines have up to date information in regards to domestic sales orders.
  • Will have tasks in initiating process improvements opportunities in regards to customer orders and shipping lead times.
  • Obtain and report on Retailer Scorecards.
  • Manage MAP violations within SAP’s Sales and Distribution module.
  • Oversee execution of Sales and Marketing Campaigns



  • A High School diploma, preferred Associated Degree. In addition, two years of retail order and account management experience is also preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are needed to perform the job successfully. The Order Management Specialist have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.  SAP Experience is preferred but not mandatory.
