Full-Time Research Analyst

Job Description

Responsible for aggregating, analyzing and reporting performance data to support Scripps media properties on a daily, quarterly and annual basis.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Prepare recurring analysis of market program audiences to support local station sales and content initiatives.
  • Support development and maintenance of sales materials as assigned.
  • Provide news management with data and analysis to support content decisions.
  • Provide station management with data and analysis to support syndicated programming decisions.
  • Support research and analyze projects.
  • Respond and fulfill station ad hoc requests
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • BA degree in Marketing, Advertising  Research preferred.
  • Experience with Wide Orbit Media Sales, Scarborough, Nielsen, comScore, Kantar, AdIntel and/or other qualitative, quantitative and competitive media data preferred.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Personal computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and Word required
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from a variety of sources
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Must be well-organized
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Ability to work in a team environment
