Full-Time Regional Sales Manager

About the position
Execute on company’s vision and strategy to drive comprehensive multi-year revenue growth in the region. Nurture long-term customer relationships at multiple levels (buyers, process/equipment engineers, department managers and company executives) aimed at driving revenue and market share through strategic collaborations, technical engagements, and operational excellence. Coordinate a high level of communications between customers and factory departments.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Driver
• Leverage regional and headquarter resources to meet the business objectives and fiscal commitments related to the AOP (annual operating plan) and budget. The role requires successful collaborative relationships with Applications and Service, Product Management, Marketing, and Inside Sales organizations.
• Execute company’s strategies to maximize business volume and win penetration while achieving product adoption.
• Explore customer technical gaps and needs for current/further technology nodes. Then, report /align with BU/Product Management/Engineering team for nextgeneration products development to ensure meeting customer’s requirement and able to pursue their future business.
• Provide critical input to development of company’s business/product strategies to maximize revenue, market share & average selling price. Pursue a value-based strategy.
• Work with BU leadership and other functional department leaders to penetrate new accounts, drive adoption, and put an infrastructure in place to support customer engagement and ramps.
• Work with the head of Service to establish a sustainable growth strategy for service sales and service organizational metrics.
Operational Excellence:
• Provide timely and accurate forecast submissions including those by representatives
• and distributors.
• Execute key account management processes for key customer executive meetings, technical review meetings and operational reviews to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Understand and specify key customer issues/concerns accurately, then drive support resources to provide solutions effectively and maintain optimal customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical sales support for applicable Distributors & Representatives selling to the customers.
• Be responsible for accurate analysis, forecasting and business intelligence; identify gaps; and, have foresight to see what is on the horizon in the region.
• Manage customer account pre/post sales activities from opportunity identified, forecast, spec/commercial negotiation, PO booking, installation, acceptance, and accounts receivable collection.
Requirements
• Knowledge of photonics and electronics packaging market. In depth knowledge of optical communication, LiDAR, VRAR / sensors, automotive photonics, medical devices, and RF power devices is a highly desirable.
• Proven sales performance with revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, new market penetration, and new product introduction.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organizational structure with colleagues and staff to create results-driven, team-oriented environment.
• Provides regional leadership and direction for the delivery of pre- and post-sales services and support to clients/customers.
• Participate in conference calls across all international time zones (domestic/international).
• Solid experience with sales funnel management via a CRM software platform. Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels; Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
• Good command of local languages (if applicable) and English, both written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Effective communication/strategy execution.
Experience and Qualifications
• 10 years in technical sales or marketing or others in a customer-facing role.
• Managed $10M and more revenue in territory with proven track record in a global company
• Managed multi-sales channels including direct, distribution, representative, interbusiness units
• BA in Engineering or Science is a MUST, MS is a plus
• Proficient in local languages (if applicable) and English
The following are highly desirable:
• Greater than 10 years semiconductor capital equipment / systems business or equivalent, preferably die bonding
• Familiar with Photonics and Microelectronics market and knowledge (includes Telecom/Datacom, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial, and Life & Health Science)
• Proven track record of meeting agreed upon goals and objectives
• Minimum 8 years in the semiconductor or photonics business and sales or
• marketing
• Excellent track record with direct experiences developing and managing sales
• channels in target territory and market.
• Demonstrated business development mind set and experience in developing emerging countries, markets and applications.
• Demonstrated key account management experiences.

this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
Standard office environment. Significant computer work should be expected.
Travel Requirements: Up to 75% travel.
