Job description

The Recruitment Marketing and Attraction team is an innovative new function within HMRC that is responsible for coordinating the effective delivery of our employer brand strategy, designed to showcase why HMRC is such a great place to work.

Our Recruitment Social Media Content Manager is key to this, as you’ll be leading on high-profile creative projects that are transforming the way in which we recruit. In this fast paced role, you will be responsible for supporting our growth objectives by designing and implementing engaging social media content to build our online employer brand. As one of our Recruitment Social Media Managers you will have a key role in establishing a market leading position in the public and private sector recruitment space.

You will work closely with key stakeholders such as Corporate Communications and HR Operations to source and create customer-focused content for our recruitment campaigns and build our brand through key social media channels.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and implement innovative new content pieces for our careers platforms and social media pages

• Manage the interests of key stakeholders to effectively deliver our employer brand strategy

• Job platform management and monitoring to ensure consistency of our brand across all channels

• Use candidate insight and key demographics to assist in delivering a comprehensive and informed social media attraction strategy

• Support other colleagues to ensure delivery capabilities of the wider team, encouraging collaborative work where appropriate

Person specification
Please advise on how you meet the Essential and Desirable Criteria listed below:-

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrable capability of using social media in a recruitment marketing environment

• Experience of using all Microsoft software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc

• Experience to be able to manage multiple projects at an extreme pace.

• To be able to reprioritise work at short notice to meet business demands.

Desirable Criteria

• An enthusiastic attitude and confidence when working a fast paced environment

• A strong understanding of how digital and social media techniques can be utilised to support our employer brand and increase the number of quality hires

• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Strong writing skills and a creative mind
