Job Description

Full-time Recruiter & Administrative Assistant within Human Resource Department for a behavioral healthcare company headquartered in Short North area.  Work week is Monday-Friday, 8a-5p.  Primary focus is full-cycle recruitment of potential employees, including screening, interviewing and performing hiring prerequisites.  Will assist department manager with HR and administrative tasks.  The ideal candidate will be motivated, have initiative, be organized and able to multitask, demonstrate dependability and possess high confidentiality standards integral of the job.

NOTE:  At this time, with COVID-19 mandates in place, we are providing telehealth services and limiting face-to-face contact.  Recruitment and communication efforts are performed with use of electronic software, technology and media applications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Screen candidate resumes and job applications to filter qualifications
  • Phone screen candidates to assess knowledge, skills or experience for position applied for
  • Conduct interviews by appointment with use of technology
  • Initiate prerequisite background, reference and drug tests
  • Will work with and provide assistance to department manager
  • Will cross-train with HR Specialist for further develop role
  • Will serve on company’s employee-led communications committee

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of demonstrated HR experience
  • Motivated, organized and detailed personal traits essential
  • Exceptional communication and social skills necessary
  • Solid computer skills for communication, including social media
  • Hands on experience with interviewing, either by phone or in person
  • Familiarity with databases for electronic application and onboarding programs
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license, automobile and good driving record are required
  • Pre-employment criminal background check and drug testing are mandatory
