Full-Time Quality Assurance Lead

Job type: Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract

Salary: £45,000-50,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Reading (with some flexibility for remote working)

We are currently growing our UK programme suite, building on the success of programmes such as our Early Career Professional Development Programme and a number of other major projects for the DfE. We are looking to recruit for a variety of roles to support us in this new phase of our work as we continue to deliver impactful programmes for teachers and leaders within schools.

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to support our UK programme teams to ensure that Education Development Trust maintains its internal and external obligations in relation to quality assurance as specified by our quality assurance framework as well as statutory requirements of external regulatory bodies. The role holder will support the Teacher Development team with putting in place robust quality assurance processes and systems to ensure that Education Development remain compliant and strive for outstanding delivery.

The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for developing a quality assurance framework, devising continuous improvement tools, carrying out teaching and learning observations, producing the self-assessment report (SAR), working with delivery partners to ensure they are compliant, developing policies and guidelines, monitoring and reporting on quality of training and learner experience, and overseeing the compilation of contractual Quality KPI reports

The role will suit applicants who have experience of Ofsted frameworks and inspection regimes, particularly in a Further Education or Professional Development setting, designing and implementing quality frameworks, and the ability to manage and interpret data from a range of sources.
