is fully remote eligible within the United States. If located in Jacksonville, FL some onsite may be required.

JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION

Works closely with scrum team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical automation solutions for APIs and UI. These
solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle, design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance and support of applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Primary responsibilities will be the development and maintenance of an automation framework and tests.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develops, maintains and upgrades Manual or Automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic t
      est tools required to execute test plans.
    • Perform usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
    • Effectively communicates automated testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
    • Interacts with product owners and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications to automate test cases.
    • Participates in software design and testing meetings in order to determine technical and testing requirements for automation.
    • Participates in project meetings with other technical staff, business owners and subject matter experts.
    • May provide, or guide provision of technical support to applications currently in production.
    • May mentor or guide other automation engineers and testers
    • Performs other related duties as assigned

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Infor
mation Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Experience developing Restful API automation with Json or XML using API testing tools such as Soap UI or Postman
    • Experience with automation tool Selenium
    • Knowledge of primary database engines with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries to be used for data validation and troubleshooting
    • Knowledge of object-oriented development tools, techniques, and principles with expertise in at least one object-oriented language (C# preferred)
    • Ability to work in an agile development environment where all scrum team members work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded
    • Working knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) framework with Cucumber preferred
    • Experience with CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, TFS/Azure DevOps preferred)<

    • Experience with GIT is preferred
    • Experience with Groovy a plus
    • Experience working with offshore teams a plus
    • Work closely with DevOps team members to deliver testing in automated pipelines according to the context of the environment
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike
    • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within Black Knight
    • Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units

Advanced professional level role. Works independently on medium to large development projects that require an in-depth technical and business knowledge in multiple discip
lines/processes. Defines and discerns key aspects of problems that require analysis and research, and develops a solution within a broad technical and business context of significant impact. Works on multiple projects as a project team member and frequently as a project team leader. May coach and/or mentor more junior technical staff. Typically requires six (6) or more years of programming/systems analysis experience.
