Full-Time Provider Payment Specialist

What you will do!
You will review, and research provider claims to identify and resolve problems!

You will access various information resources to ensure accurate information is given to providers!

You will communicate complex rules and procedures by telephone health care providers regarding billing and payments!

You will assist providers who submit claims, adjust claims, request Provider PIN account resets, and who seek other information via the secured Provider Web Portal; plus, so much more!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Three years of experience performing public contact and/or customer service duties comparable to the work of a Public Service Representative.
    • At least two years of this experience must include dealing with the public in-person or by phone providing information about services and programs; explaining rules, programs, and procedures; and/or providing assistance, explaining requirements, and gaining compliance.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining a work environment that is respectful and accepting of diversity among team members and the people we serve.
  • Experience in advancing health equity, addressing systemic health disparities and collaborating with diverse, vulnerable and underrepresented populations.
  • Experience communicating complex rules and procedures by phone, in writing, and in person.
  • Experience with MMIS and Medicaid programs preferred.
  • Experience with medical claims billing.
  • Experience with other multi-line phone system.
