Full-Time Production Coordinator

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE 

S’well is looking for a Production Coordinator to support the day-to-day activities within our Production and Sourcing team. The ideal candidate will interface and work directly with our overseas suppliers and should be comfortable working with vendors in different geographic zones. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assist the Sourcing Team with tasks required to assure on-time, successful production orders, manufacturing processes, new product development shipments and delivery to our customers and distribution centers.
  • Act as the Production Team’s liaison between the S’well Creative/Sales Team and the manufacturers for product decorations, artwork, sampling etc.
    • Coordinate production sampling and product approvals
    • Coordinate sales samples and delivery to sales teams
    • Coordinate supplier quality samples
    • Manage seasonal sample tracker with suppliers
  • Maintain master cost sheets with new pricing from suppliers, new innovation projects and packaging projects. 
  • Maintain the tooling master sheet with new innovation projects tooling expenses.
  • Assist with steps in the master calendar for both seasonal and innovation projects where applicable. 
  • Assist with Adopt Sheet creation used by the entire company for seasonal and innovation launches. 
  • Assist with new product development quotes and RFQ process.  
  • Assist with First Insight testing for innovation decoration project tests. 
  • Provide direct support on packaging projects for S’well, S’ip and S’nack product lines.  
  • Facilitate SKU data management, packaging artwork management, purchase order management and bill of Materials creation and management

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • *Able to commute into our S’well Product Lab 2 times a week or as necessary 
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in a role, preferably in sourcing, supply chain or production; CPG industry preferred
  • Possess a self starter mindset and able to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects, stakeholders and priorities 
  • Strong attention to detail and relentless follow-through in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills; “can-do” attitude and resourcefulness
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills and ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate clearly and concisely with technical and non-technical teams, adjusting communication styles depending on type of target audience.
  • A team player who is open to feedback, works well with others and can bring teams to consensus
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and facilitation skills across diverse team functions and locations
  • Strong ability to interface with internal and external contacts at all levels.  Ability to clearly communicate via verbal presentations and in writing.
  • Strong financial acumen to understand and articulate business value for new product development projects.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Google suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  
  • Knowledge and experience using computer software and collaborative project management tools and processes
  • Adobe Illustrator experience and creative abilities preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
