Job Description
We are seeking Principal based out of BNY Mellon New York Office, USA. In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end management of Quality Assurance [QA] Program for Global Supply Chain Management [GSCM].

Here is brief description of the job role:

Role and Responsibility:

This position will be part of First Line of Defense. The individual will implement and execute Quality Management program within GSCM. She/He would assess the adequacy of Third-Party Governance requirements and Source-to-Pay controls, policy standards and procedures to protect the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of BNY’s information and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.
Operational Risk Management: Implement Risk Control Self-Assessment [RCSA] policy requirements. She/He is expected to support the maintenance of RCSA document that highlights the operational and other risks faced by GSCM. This effort involves setting up meetings with various stakeholders, documenting self-identified issues, creating the commentary that is input into Risk Management Platform, and following up on any action items.
Audit Management: Project manage reviews from 2nd / 3rd line and External Audit. This effort involves coordinating with Auditor and functional groups within GSCM, ensure artifacts are appropriate and submitted to the requestor before deadline. Facilitate clarification discussions between functional group within GSCM and Auditor. Track and follow-up on action items, facilitate discussion with stakeholders for closure of the action items.
QA Testing: Designs execution testing programs to ensure controls are adequate and effectively implemented. Analyzes key risks, errors and root cause analysis. Ensures appropriate documentation of evidence is maintained for the reviews conducted by the team.
QA Dashboard: She/He would own the responsibility to create QA dashboard for Management including the QA & Risk Forum materials that contains critical issues related to Risk and Compliance topics. She/He will follow-up on any action items resulting from such meetings.
Adhoc Projects and Efforts: In addition to the above, the individual may be asked to lead adhoc projects related to Risk and Compliance efforts.
Provide direction to a team of Sr. Specialists / Specialists and contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
Experience:

10-12 years of total work experience preferred; hands-on experience with a recognized company in conducting audit of functions including design review / execution testing and drafting issue reports preferred
Comprehensive SME level knowledge of Sourcing, Buying Channels and Accounts Payable and understanding of bidding tools, ERP systems required.
Experience with Risk Management, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, and/or Controls related function in banking or financial services industry is required.
Familiar with regulatory and industry standards such as QMS, SOX, COSO and SOC1/SOC2 audit reports
Good communicator with strong networking skills to build relationships with global stakeholders in multiple time zones
Strong written communication and report writing skills with proficiency on office productivity applications especially ability to quickly analyze and manipulate complex spreadsheets by writing macros
Experience in drafting department procedures; structuring the content and creating process maps.
Flexibility, multi-tasking ability and willingness to work with changing priorities in a complex and dynamic work environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Certifications such as CA, CISA, CSP preferred
