The Challenge
We are looking for an enthusiastic Partner Manager to join us and ensure that our partners are engaged and successful. This is a role for someone who is a master relationship manager. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining partners throughout their entire relationship with oak9. Partners will directly come to you as the single point of contact into oak9. This role is critical to oak9’s growth strategy. Business Development should come natural to you, and you should strongly value owning a partner portfolio. We’re a small team making a big impact, and we value people who have a bias for action.

The Skillset:

    • Experience with software sales or business development
    • Channel Sales experience
    • Experience with developing partnerships and partner programs

In 30 days, you will…

    • Get to know oak9! Learn about our systems, processes, people, and vision
    • Become intimately familiar with cloud service provider offerings and security considerations associated with them
    • Determine the shared methodology to track the partner program pipeline and results

In 60 days, you will…

    • Meet with oak9 partners and establish a regular cadence to review sales pipelines, open opportunities and to discuss other ways to further the partnership
    • Be the point of contact for 8-10 partner relationships
    • Build and implement partner programs that consider industry niches and nuances to foster engagement

In 90 days, you will…

    • Collaborate with Marketing and Design to create effective partner collateral
    • Help shape the oak9 partner ecosystem
