Position Summary
Experienced writer/editor who can assist with written content on a part-time basis 15-20 hours per week.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Write event previews and recaps for World Triathlon events
- Write event recaps for non-owned national championships
- Update athlete bios
- Draft press releases
- Put together award nominations
- Draft articles to be featured on usatriathlon.org and USA TRI Magazine
Requirements
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Minimum 5-7 years professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, English or relevant field
- Desire to work within a fast-paced environment as part of a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including off-hours, weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with the sport of triathlon, or endurance sports, is required

Pay: $15/hour
