Office Administrator

Are you warm and authentic, confident and articulate? Are you good at problem solving and trouble-shooting? Can you juggle many things at once, sometimes all day? Do you like to help behind the scenes? Are you super organized, maybe even a little obsessed? If you answered “yes” to all of these questions, then please read on!

 

This role is the initial contact for students, parents, prospective parents, and all other visitors to the school. You set the tone for a warm, welcoming, and service-oriented environment while monitoring the coming and going of school visitors; addressing faculty and staff and student needs; and interacting with parents, guests, visitors, and trustees.  

You’ll help to ensure that the school runs smoothly each day and throughout the school-year. The ideal candidate is super organized; able to juggle multiple projects; competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. You’re self-motivated and trustworthy; enjoy trouble-shooting and work extremely well with others. This role reports to the Director of Operations.

  • Takes ownership of projects; able to complete with minimal supervision. 
  • Adaptable and flexible–able to pivot quickly and adjusting priorities as needed

  • Initiative; willingness to take on responsibilities beyond those explicitly defined
  • Self-motivated, problem solver/critical thinker
  • Highest levels of honesty, integrity, and candor
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Excellent levels of accuracy, responsiveness, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Unflappable in the midst of chaos
  • Be a practitioner of equity, diversity and inclusion

BA Degree preferred.
