Full-Time OBD Certification Document Specialist

We are looking for a talented OBD Certification Document Specialist to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Corporate/CBS Segment team in Columbus, IN.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Builds OBD Certification Documents to support OBD certification efforts globally

* Leads operational improvement projects related to OBD Cert Docs

* Develops Engineering Practices (EP) relating to OBD Cert Docs

* Supports the Change Control Board (CCB) for OBD Cert Doc content development reviews

* Collaborates with Diagnostic Development Teams

* Collaborates with global teams for OBD Cert Doc Development, coordination and improvement

* Works with diagnostic developers to create OBD cert doc content for new, unique, difficult diagnostics

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology required.

* Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.

* Ability to follow complex work instructions

* Must have strong analytical skills relating to operational compliance activities and tools

* Basic familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink

 

Compensation and Benefits

 

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
