AndersonQuigleyUK – Posted by AndersonQuigleyUK London, England, United Kingdom

Job Description

Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust – A strongly performing, ambitious organisation, focussed on providing high quality, safe and innovative care to our patients and their families

The NHS has never been tested or needed as much as it has done during the COVID-19 pandemic. At Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) we continue to offer high quality effective mental health care to the most vulnerable members of our community. We have had to innovate and change the way we do this to protect our service users, carers and staff, recognising that this crisis will affect us all for a long time to come.

We are also ambitious for the future, we are unwavering in our commitment to improving the lives and the wellbeing of those we serve through the redevelopment of our estate as well as continuously improving, evolving and adapting our services. With this in mind, we wish to appoint two new Non-Executive Directors to our Board.

As a vibrant, values-based organisation focussed on driving continuous improvement across our growing footprint of services, non-executive directors play a pivotal role in driving our strategy, culture and values, acting as the Trust’s ambassadors in engaging with staff, local communities and a wide range of stakeholders in a ‘whole population’ approach.

As a major provider of services operating across a diverse landscape, we recognise that everyone is different, and we are committed to ensuring that the diversity of our community is appropriately reflected throughout the Trust.

We are eager to find tenacious, inspiring, driven individuals with experience in any of the following areas who can operate at the highest levels:

• Clinical and patient safety expertise gained from a current or recent medical discipline and/or social care.
• An understanding of the current agenda in the NHS; the integration of services and working in collaboration with others.
• Strategic workforce experience with a focus on transformation, change and organisational development from either the public, private or not for profit sector.

Candidates should be as passionate about improving mental health and well-being services within the communities we serve as we are and understand the importance of ensuring inclusion and engagement lie at the heart of our decision making.
