The Microsoft Dynamics Support Engineer is crucial to keeping Dynamics up and running for enVista’s clients by identifying issues and helping users get the most out of their production applications. This position works closely with clients, professional services teams and service delivery managers to provide technical support. Ideal candidates will have prior experience supporting Dynamic AX/D365 F&O ERPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical contact for clients, delivering advanced troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts as needed to solve complex problems.
  • Identify cases that require escalation to Microsoft.
  • Perform trend analysis on client tickets to measure and improve the client experience by proactively creating actionable insights.
  • Governance of customer support issues:
  • Ensure all customer SLAs are met while delivering a consistently high quality of service.
  • Persistent and customer focused follow-up on open issues
  • Act as a liaison and drive cross-functional coordination to provide efficient issue resolution and assign to appropriate resources after analysis if additional help is required.
  • Provide proper direction to end user on resolution.
  • Keep the customer updated with timely and frequent information.
  • Ability to work on critical issues in a time sensitive environment. Escalate issues as necessary and monitor open issues after escalation as required and press for resolution.
  • Contribute to case deflection initiatives, automation and other digital self-help and/or knowledgebase assets to improve customer/ engineer experience.
  • Provide knowledge sharing, technical coaching and mentoring.
  • Provides 24 X 7 on-call support on a rotational basis to resolve critical system issues.
  • This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in continental U.S.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Dynamics AX/D365 F&O Consulting and/or Support role.
  • At least 5 years of technical experience with the Dynamics AX/D365 application stack and server architecture, web services, security, cloud, and infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, research, understand and solve business problems.
  • Excellent communication, training, client relationship and analytical skills.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work in non-structured work environment (i.e., remotely, home office, etc.)
  • This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in continental U.S.
