Full-Time Marketing Operations Manager – Posted by Anywhere

The Role

Studio 2G, GovExec’s in-house custom content studio, is looking for a multi-skilled and ambitious Marketing Operations Manager with strong organizational skills to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee the operations and execution of custom content programs for GovExec’s in-house brand studio, Studio2G.


  • Oversee revenue pipeline, operations, and execution of content marketing programs and campaigns
  • Manage business development and pre-sale process for content marketing programs to support growth of the custom content sales pipeline
  • Collaborate closely with the Client Services team on project management tools/templates, weekly revenue updates, campaign shifts, and more
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes, tools, and templates for content marketing campaign execution
  • Collaborate with Editor of Branded Content to manage and update product portfolio, pricing, and processes
  • Oversee contract and pricing review & approval for all Studio2G content marketing products
  • Continually work with internal teams to identify and introduce process updates to enhance S2G custom content program delivery, profitability, and efficiencies
  • Build and oversee processes for cross-team collaboration and communications
  • Oversee S2G expenses, yearly budget, and revenue from the sales pipeline
  • Provide program and client management support on assigned campaigns, as needed


  • 3+ years of experience in a related field
  • Software skills: proficient use of Microsoft Excel, G-Suite, and familiarity with Asana is a plus
  •  Strong organization and communication skills
