Automated Logic is a part of Carrier, a leading provider of HVAC, refrigeration, fire, security, and building automation technologies. These high-technology products and services enable modern life by delivering efficiency, safety, and security across several platforms.

Job Description:

This person will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing and sales strategies to drive the organic growth of the Automated Logic branch business as well as leading the M&A program of the business to achieve successful inorganic growth.

Key external interactions will be with key current and prospective customers and prospective M&A candidates. Key internal interactions will be with Area GMs, Sales, Sales Operations, Service, ALC Product team, WHQ Business Development team, and Marketing/Sales leaders of other Carrier brands.

General Responsibilities:

M&A Program Management

Business Development Leader

  • Identify an actionable pipeline of acquisition candidates that supports the business’ M&A strategy objectives. Interface with candidates to qualify interest, timing, strategic fit and cultural fit. Be the face of the Automated Logic Field business throughout the transactions.
  • Support the Carrier WHQ Business Development team with deal modeling, valuation, and transaction execution as required, including but not limited to input on revenue growth projections, profitability rates, synergies and cost of integration

Integration Program Leader

  • Act as overall program leader for all acquisition integrations, accountable to ALC and Carrier sr. leadership for overall program success and achievement of objectives, with activities including but not limited to:
  • Leadership role in development of overall integration program playbook as well as oversight and support of development of function specific integration playbooks
  • Lead the Automated Logic Field M&A team to perform thorough business operations due diligence, integration planning, and successful post-close integration execution for all acquisitions.
  • Ensure successful execution on synergies and business plan.
  • Create concise, executive-level reports and presentations on status of overall strategy and individual integrations.

Strategic Marketing:

  • Perform in-depth analyses of competitors, industry trends, market research and segment data
  • Synthesize findings of analyses, develop executive presentations and help present recommendations to senior management
  • Develop strategic growth initiatives and corresponding playbooks to strengthen and grow the base business, expand in key vertical segments, and grow the service business.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations and Sales Managers to deploy and execute strategy playbooks. Establish and track metrics to measure success.
  • Work with Marketing Communications to produce sales and marketing campaigns and other sales collateral.
  • Drive Automated Logic Field’s execution of Carrier sales and marketing initiatives as they arise.
  • Provide marketing-related business data and analysis upon request
