Manager, Corporate Partnerships Sales

As a member of the largest revenue generating team of the organization, the purpose of the Manager, Corporate Partnerships Sales is to inspire organizations to financially support the activities of TIFF through mutually beneficial partnerships, working towards a collective annual revenue target. 

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Partnerships, departmental activities are designed to research, cultivate, negotiate and steward a robust portfolio of net new corporate partners, to engage them in our mission to transform the way people see the world through film, while helping them meet their business objectives. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Shall include but not be limited to:

  • Develop and build an annual pipeline of $1.5M+ in net new business to secure cash in excess of $500,000 as part of the largest revenue generating team of the organization. 
  • Support for the Senior team on select sales opportunities, with focus on medium to semi-large scale investments with the goal of exceeding overall Corporate Partnerships (CP) revenue target. 
  • Support for Partnerships Accounts vertical in renewals and current accounts upsells (where appropriate) 
  • Develop, pursue, and manage a pipeline of $1.5M (minimum) contributing to the organization’s financial sustainability through maximized revenue from corporate partners. 
  • Effective prospect management; including objective setting, negotiating terms for contracts with new sponsors and supporting the Accounts team with large-scale renewals. 
  • Support the ideation and development of enticing new business properties. 
  • Strong external ambassador for TIFF in the sponsorship landscape and demonstrates this through strong and innovative proposals, clear objective setting with prospects, and delivering impactful sales results. 
  • Support CP Accounts team to up-sell and renew current accounts and execute on-site tasks and duties during the Festival. 
  • Act as CP representation at internal production tables/meetings (such as Festival Production meetings) to create, enhance, and execute cross departmental communication and efficient execution.
  • Other responsibilities including but not limited to online ticket servicing, ambush prevention, venue management, year-round film programme strategy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of sponsorship/partnerships or relevant corporate partnership sales experience 
  • Related post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
