Main Grade Lecturer in Electrical Installation

Salary: £19,137 – £30,309

An exciting opportunity for a dedicated and capable Main Grade Lecturer in Electrical

Installation has arisen in one of the country’s largest Colleges. With a turnover of

£47m annually, the College services c.17,000 learners each year from a diverse

variety of backgrounds. With state-of-the-art facilities, Beacon status, Gold Investors

in People status and an excellent purpose-built estate across the city, the College is

home to ground breaking innovation and involved in a wide variety of exciting new

developments across the city and the wider educational landscape.

The successful candidate will have the ability to create effective and stimulating

opportunities for all students through high quality teaching, learning and assessment

and you must actively promote innovative work and the development of the Electrical

Installation curriculum. You will also be able demonstrate differentiation in all lessons

and possess the ability to stretch and challenge the most able students.

The successful candidate must be in the possession of relevant Electrical

Installation/Electro-technical L3 qualifications: CGLI or equivalent and ideally hold a

relevant teaching qualification. Experience of curriculum planning and delivery is

desirable in addition to an ability to meet deadlines and a track record of achieving

above benchmark results. You will be committed to Continuing Professional
