The Learning and Development Specialist works collaboratively across Ease’s Support departments and throughout the organization to develop a focused and effective learning service that aligns with the company goals and objectives. The Learning & Development Specialist must be comfortable with speaking in front of a group of people while controlling the pace and flow of the class in order to deliver the coursework within the expected timeframe.
This position will work to ascertain and develop onboarding and continuing education coursework for the entire Customer Support organization to enable the employees the required knowledge, skills, techniques and motivation to perform and service our customers at the highest level.

Areas of Focus:

    • Develop an engaging, efficient and effective learning experience
    • Deliver training material to optimize skill development & expected behavior
    • Regulate the pace of the class and coursework in effort to fulfill expectations
    • Administrative duties including tracking and reporting class attendance, creating and grading assessments and quizzes, and running and submitting reports to the leadership team
    • Establish productive relationships across the organization to gain an understanding of business goals that translate into training updates and refresher courses
    • Support company wide business initiatives for growth and retention by serving as a team resource
    • Create and maintain the LMS (currently Workramp) in step with all current policies and protocols
    • Proactively engage with Product to identify new releases and create documentation regarding product changes
    • Understand and apply adult learning principles and theories
    • Partner with Ease Support stack replacement project team to assist with knowledge base – where needed
    • Coordinate training classes with the leadership team for cross functional training and discussion


    • Experience working with WorkRamp or other LMS platforms
    • Education Architecture background preferred
    • Creative problem solver who uses data to make informed decisions
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, keeping key stakeholders informed of project statuses
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
    • Comfortable with the ebb and flow of teaching SAAS
    • Intermediate knowledge of insurance
Must have proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.
