Full-TimeLead Biomedical Technician
Provide service and documentation under supervision of Director. Perform preventative maintenance and repair biomedical equipment to board level. Work within the procedure of documentation, departmental, and facility policies.
CODE JOB FUNCTIONS (see attached list of ADA Reason Codes)
1 Perform prompt, timely inspections on all new and repaired equipment within department’s responsibility.
1 Follow Electrical Safety and Performance Verification to insure code compliance.
1 Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all biomedical equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Calibration and adjustment of electrical, mechanical components, and replacement parts.
1 Perform service calls when necessary.
1 Perform diagnoses and troubleshooting biomedical equipment to component level.
1 Responsible for documenting the results of all inspections, maintenance and tests.
1 Organize technicians to perform Preventive Maintenance Inspection.
1 Maintain open communication with hospital personnel regarding medical equipment service.
5 Stay up to date on regulations of State, Federal Joint Commission requirements.
5 Responsible for all test equipment and tools provided by NBMC.

Bachelor’s degree Biomedical Engineering Required
Minimum five (5) years in Biomedical Engineering
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
