Full-Time JV Global Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

Summary:

JV Global Supply Chain Manager executes on project management responsibilities to ensure success of China Accuray Medical Technologies (CAMT) regional sourcing strategies, as well as, focus on cost of material projects that will support the reduction operations and service parts cost. Also, this role supports the Accuray Global Supply Chain for development of lower-cost regions sourcing strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary interface/Liaison to CAMT in the following areas: developing base platform product requirements, resolving product issues throughout product lifecycle, supporting regulatory approvals, and providing ongoing supply chain management support.
  • Drive and lead project teams to develop products and parts services to enable CAMT to succeed as an OEM of medical device equipment by developing low cost, high-quality regional suppliers.
  • Develop and implement supply chain process controls and procedures to CAMT for undertaking and carrying out future sourcing projects.
  • Manage a risk-adjusted portfolio of cross-functional Accuray COGS reduction projects to achieve COGS targets (Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, accessories, and features).
  • Develop, deliver, and report out cost savings and project initiatives to the global company platform.
  • Lead and drive low-cost region supply chain initiatives that are value added for CAMT and US-based manufacturing.
  • Manage and support overall product roadmap for X4, X6 cost out programs with matrix support from CAMT supply chain resources.
  • Direct collaboration with the Supply Chain and Logistics teams for supplier development and supplier surveillance focused on quality, product reliability, and cost.

Qualifications:

a. Required

  • BS in a technical discipline (engineering, computer science, physics, etc.).
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in leading projects, supply chain development, technical business acumen for understanding COGs and levers for efficient operations.
  • Proven interaction skills with individual contributors and management across engineering, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, quality, and regulatory functions.
  • Ability to effectively navigate formal and informal communication and decision-making channels across all levels of a matrixed organization to deliver results.
  • Ability to work on multiple, concurrent project of diverse scope with diverse project teams of varying size.
  • Ability to lead as a sole contributor working in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to develop and deliver clear, crisp communications (written and verbal) that are customized to the needs of different audiences, ensuring timely and relevant communication.
  • Ability to see the big picture and synthesize, analyze, and draw insights from large data sets to inform the best path forward.
  • Ability to implement projects in a multicultural environment across the global company platform.
  • Some travel, domestic and or international, may be required.

b. Preferred or Desired

  • PMP Certification and/or advanced degree.
  • Experience managing projects involving external collaborators within; multicultural, cross-business units, different time zones and or countries.
  • Industry experience and knowledge of medical device and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrated performance for delivering high profile and profitable project management solutions.
