We create compelling brand identities for businesses, public sector institutions, NGOs, products and campaigns. freuds provides a comprehensive brand design and creation package throughout. But aside from that, we’re a pretty great set of people who enjoy design and doing it well.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibility is to support the creative team on a variety of design briefs such as:

  • Supporting the team in responding to design briefs. Sounds vague, but this could be anything from researching and developing ideas for a company rebrand, editorial design for one of our quarterly journals, creating compelling presentations and reports or creating engaging infographics to accompany a brand launch or campaign. The list is endless.
  • Your support will be needed in helping with the Goals House programme that runs throughout the year to create a range of event collateral ranging from invitations to POS graphics.

YOUR DESIGN SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

  • Good working relationship with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. After Effects is a bonus.
  • Bonus points if you’re a PowerPoint pro.
  • Demonstrable skills in a portfolio showcasing your best design work across layout, branding andtypography
  • Ability to produce work for a wide range of media, including desktop, mobile, social media, emailand printed collateral with a good understanding of the best practices of each output.

YOUR PERSONALITY

  • We’d love you to be always keeping up to date with current practices in the design world and beyond.
  • You can easily work great as part of a team or even as a lone wolf when needed.
  • Can you juggle? Great! Your organisational skills will come in handy when managing multipleprojects and multiple briefs per day.
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to follow and execute detailed instructions and briefs.
  • Be consistent. Be accurate. And if you’re not, work at it constantly. We love a trier.
  • Excellent communication skills – because how else would be able to talk through your ideas?
