Part-Time Junior Attorney – Part Time
Aledade, Inc. is actively recruiting for a Part-Time Attorney, with 3+ years’ prior experience working in-house or at a law firm, who will provide contract support and legal assistance for Aledade’s business teams.
As a Part-Time Attorney, you will be responsible for:
Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing operational contracts such as NDAs, services agreements, consulting agreements, licenses, and business associate agreements with Aledade’s subsidiary ACOs, as well as partners.
Providing legal counsel to departments as needed, including on various data and protected health information security and privacy related matters.
Assisting with secretarial and corporate governance functions, including preparation of written consents, resolutions, and meeting minutes for Aledade’s ACO board meetings.
Working on various research projects as required by internal client matters.
What We Value:
Experience in the corporate and/or health care industry is strongly preferred.
Experience with drafting and negotiating contracts described above.
Familiarity with health care law and regulation including Stark especially application of HIPAA and privacy laws.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong negotiation skills.
Willing to meet the demands of a dynamic working environment.
Able to build strong working relationships with internal team members throughout the company.
Collaborative and team-oriented, but able to work independently with little supervision and no administrative support.
3-5 years of relevant experience.
Must be licensed to practice law in a state and have the ability to register as a Maryland In-House Counsel.
