Serves as an individual contributor with expertise in data mapping, research and analysis, and analyzing XML schemas relative to a client organization’s business plan and industry requirements. Works on integrations for Black Knight’s Ernst Fee Service product. Acts as a liaison between clients and internal development teams. Provides technical consulti ng on complex projects.


  • Works individually on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements.
  • Serves as liaison between end-users and the information technology organization consultants during IT and technology consulting projects.
  • Expertly researches and documents client needs, technology, or regulations related to mortgage/deed tax and recording fee values
  • Analyzes marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc. Also analyzes system impacts to other systems and procedures. Provides recommendations on best practices and changes in technology accordingly.
  • Defines XML Schema and other data requirements
  • Performs other related duties as required.


A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.


  • Familiarity with Black Knight products and services is a plus
  • Expertise in analyzing and manipulating XML
  • Knowledge of Excel and CSV files
  • Knowledge of the mortgage, real estate and title industries preferred
  • Must be very detail oriented
  • Proficiency in quality management methods, tools and technologies
  • Awareness of system-development protocol and programming concepts
  • Ability to conduct deep research and analysis
  • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels
  • Expertise in working with a sense of urgency with the ability to provide rapid responses to internal and external clients
  • Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas

Technology Business Consultant II

Intermediate professional role. Moderate skills with high level of proficiency. Develops and implements solutions that require analysis and research. Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in one or more technologies. Possesses knowledge in a specific business area. Works on one or more projects as a team member or occasionally as a project lead. Works under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. May consult with senior peers on certain projects. Typically requires at least three years of demonstrated business analysis/consulting experience, a minimum of three years of mortgage and home equity services consulting or management experience, and demonstrated technical capabilities.

Although target pay range may vary by work location, a representative pay range for Colorado residents is: $70,000 – $100,000. Eligible to participate in medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability insurance, 401(k) plan and employee stock purchase plan.
