Full-Time Installation Project Manager

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project management and site planning activities for all Radixact and CyberKnife Systems including System Upgrades in the Western sales region of the US
  • Determine product feasibility for new customer sites
  • Work with the Accuray Sales Directors to fully understand the status of all backlog and funnel projects in the Western US sales region.  Develop plans to move these customers on a firm timeline toward system delivery and installation
  • Understand the business environment in US and work with the customers to remove business development obstacles to improve order to revenue cycle time (i.e. regulatory, permitting, financing and joint ventures)
  • Interact with internal and external customers to continuously improve customer support
  • Part of team responsible for establishing gold standard business practices that will allow Accuray to scale the support organization for growth
  • Work in a matrix organization
  • Up to 40% Travel


a. Required

  • BS degree in Architecture, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical)
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Medical Device, Capital Equipment, Construction or Architectural Design
  • Some project management experience
  • AutoCAD, Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft Office
  • Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet goals and achieve results
  • Must be assertive, with strong convictions, integrity and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual/presentation communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills leading to practical application
  • Sound judgment and high ethical standards
  • Ability to persuasively communicate ideas to colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Location:  Salt Lake City, Denver, Phoenix

b. Preferred or Desired

  • PMP Certification
  • MS Project or other cloud-based Project Management Application
  • Experience with hospitals and complex medical capital equipment
